- Account information: name, email address, collected via Clerk (our authentication provider).
- Payment information: billing details processed by Razorpay. Sniffers does not store card numbers or full payment details.
- Product data: Google Play Store IDs, YouTube search queries you configure.
- Usage data: feature usage, chat query logs (used to improve the service).
- Review data: publicly available reviews fetched from third-party platforms (YouTube, Google Play Store).
3. Authentication — Clerk
User authentication is handled by Clerk, Inc. Clerk stores your email, name, and session data on their infrastructure. By using Sniffers, you also agree to Clerk's privacy policy (clerk.com/legal/privacy).
4. Payments — Razorpay
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Sniffers does not receive or store your full card details. Razorpay's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled (razorpay.com/privacy).
5. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Sniffers service.
- To process subscription payments.
- To send transactional emails (plan activation, billing receipts).
- To improve the service based on usage patterns.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. Data Storage & Retention
- Account and product data: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
- Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax and GST regulations.
- Review and ingestion data: deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Backups: purged within 90 days.
7. Third-Party Services
Sniffers uses the following third-party services:
- Clerk — authentication
- Razorpay — payment processing
- OpenRouter — AI language model inference (review analysis and chat)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at legal@sniffers.app. We will respond within 30 days.
